A barbershop website in Alicante with real online booking: its own server, database, notifications and admin panel — no third-party services or monthly fees.

The task

The barbershop needs bookings without calls and chats: the client picks a service, a format (at the shop or a home visit), a day and a time, and the barber hears about it right away. Third-party booking services mean a monthly fee and someone else's design.

What I built

  1. Website in three languages: Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish
  2. 7 services with price and duration; choice of format: at the shop or a home visit with a surcharge
  3. Free time is calculated on the server, accounting for working hours, service length and travel after a home visit
  4. Bookings are stored in a database; two clients can never take the same slot
  5. The barber gets a Telegram notification for every new booking
  6. Admin panel: bookings by day and cancellation
  7. Automated tests for the scheduling logic

Outcome

Clients book in a minute from their phone, the barber gets notified, and the owner pays nothing for a booking service.
